My full name is Jesusa Ayala Dayate – Catral, I’m just “Jessette” to people who knows me.

I’m an art director for Forecepts, a mobile & web design company. Illustration is one of my great passions.

I got my formal education in the field of design from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. I have a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communication.

The illustration I created on the right side of this page pretty much define me:visual arts, music, literature,art films and mountain trails.

I’m a self-proclaimed outdatedflower child when it comes to taste in music. Psychedelic rock of the 60’s and 70’s gives me a real high. The list can go on and on but my favourites are Joni Mitchell, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin.

When I’m up in the mountains, I love to dance to the beat of Philippine World Music/ethno-rock music of Pinikpikan Band (Now Kalayo) and Cynthia Alexander.

When I’m in a meditative state, I would call upon the ethereal voice of my muses: Loreena McKennit, Enya, Lisa Gerrard and Karl Jenkins’ Adiemus project to take me away from this earth and bring me to a different state of being.

In the real world (right now, my real world is located here in Singapore), I create and design websites.

The world in between, I’m a daydreamer and an illustrator of my dreams. In this other world, ethereal voice of my muses carries me back and forth…to earth…and there.
